Gloucester Housing Association/Partnership
Commissioned by a Neighbourhood Partnership to run a social needs assessment across two wards in Gloucester. This involved setting up and managing a research project which involved, as a key feature, training a team of community evaluators. We worked with the team and the partnership to clarify their information requirements and design a survey which investigated the areas they were interested in. The data collected was evaluated through participative processes involving the wider community at a Community Planning Day.
Monitoring & Evaluation Training Workshop:
Training for a wide range of voluntary groups and agencies for Havant & Gosport SRB programme.
Community Involvement & Capacity Building:
A series of training workshops for SRB6 officers in Southampton to enhance community involvement and community capacity building. Including a wide range of participative and research tools. Current work includes the production on a Community Involvement toolkit for SRB officers and partners to work together to enhance community involvement and capacity building in the programme.
Estate Action for Sovereign Housing Association and South Oxfordshire Housing Association
Contracts for advising and intervening on "difficult to let" estates. This involved working with the organisation, association staff, other agencies and residents to generate enthusiasm and garner resources for improving the quality of life for residents. Work included surveys, community planning, facilitation and action planning.
Organisational review for Sovereign Housing Association :
Engaged by organisation to review the roles, responsibilities and skills of Housing Team across the south of England. The objective was to move towards a more residents centred approach. The work involved research, survey and analysis and facilitating staff involvement in the restructuring process.
Developing customer focus with Sentinel Housing Association:
Reviewed staff attitudes to customer focus issues through surveys and focus groups. In response to findings - organised training and familiarisation for entire staff and representatives of tenants. Advised on consequential strategic and organisational changes.
